Q.

my baby is 3 month 29 day his birth weight is 3.5 now 6.75 kg, last one month back 6.2 kg only 500 gram increasre this month

A. considering the average parameters the weight gain after baby seems fine the weight should double the birth weight by 5 months of age . . . . . . .. . . .

A. During their first month, most newborns gain weight at a rate of about 1 ounce (30 grams) per day. They generally grow in height about 1 to 1½ inches (2.54 to 3.81 centimeters) during the first month. Many newborns go through a period of rapid growth when they are 7 to 10 days old and again at 3 and 6 weeks.In the first three months, a baby should gain, on average, 140 to 210 grams (five to 7½ ounces) per week
