MY BABY IS 3 AND HALF MONTHS OLD. IT IS DIFFICULT FOR HIM TO PASS MOTION. GAP OF PASSING MOTION EXTEND TO 5-6 DAYS. WHY IS SO? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

A. constipation in small babies is very commonly seen and is more when you are giving formula milk. you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child and gi jfve frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case and constipation of few days can be considered as normal .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need to give any enzyme preparation to your child you can consult doctor.give proper tummy time for about 15-20 mins and burping to avoid gastric trouble.
