Q.

My baby is 3.5 month old and he is not taking milk directly from the breast.If i pump and give means with great difficulty he drinks and during the night time in half sleep he drinks directly from the breast..is anyone facing the same issue or any solution for this??

A. Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquidsng some supplements may be helpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .

A. Hello dear parent! Baby’s feeding and sleeping pattern keeps changing in the first few months. Be patient and persistent in your efforts to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Make a good skin contact with your baby while breastfeeding. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
