Q.
my baby is 20 days old.she is stooling once a day and crying for stooling.can i use warm water to her.pls suggest me.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. don't give warm water to newborn baby, most of the time crying during pooping, is normal . newborns and infant don't know how to initiate urination and defecation so they do strain too much causes pain and baby start crying .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good afternoon I would recommend that you should try to put a few drops of oil in the rectum of the child but it is not advisable for you to start giving warm water I would suggest that you do hot compress on the stomach
