Q.

my baby is 2 months old. my parents are telling that we can give him biscuits dissolved in water from 4th month. can we do that?

A. no you shouldn't. exclusive breastfeeding is recommended till 6 months. but if its not possible due to any reason you can start with moong dal pani, ricE water. start with a spoon for a day. slowly increase quantity. banana preferably later. when baby is used to the idea of feeding from spoon. this is just tummy training. it will not replace breastfeeding. it bridges the gap when baby turns 6 months, you can increase the quantity. make sure baby is head up while feeding, do not hasten or forcefeed, keep patience.

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and please do not give your baby biscuits at this age if two months as it is made with maida and some preservative also there. nd breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months. take care
