Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. may be it could be due to the quantity of it also. if you over feed the baby then also such issues can happen. if you feel it is happenning often it is best to stop for a few days and then try again after sometime. the amount of formula milk depends on baby's weight. baby should be given 150-200ml of formula feed for every kg of baby weight. for example if baby is 3 kgs then give 450-600 ml in 24 hrs. that is the thumb rule.dividethis through the day.
But since all babies are different then the quantity may vary a bit also. Please refer to the instructions on the box also once where the quantity will be given as per baby's weight or age.
One note about formula feeding: It's easier to overfeed when using formula because it takes less effort to drink from a bottle than from a breast.so please make sure you keep an on the quantity.
