Q.
My baby is 18 days old. in the morning and at night, he sleeps relaxed for hours. I feed him every 2 hours. I have to wake him up to feed. but. in the evening , he wakes up for 2 hours and he cry for the food every half an hour. I have to give him formula. I dont understand whether he remain empty stomach in the morning and night dont cry due to his sleep or what??

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. baby may be crying for different reasons hunger is very important for the baby It is quite natural small babies will be having lot of gas and there will be pain in stomach also please do burping of the baby after feeding give Colicaid drops 0.5 ml 3 times a day this is safe medicine

Reasons for crying could be many
but mainly they cry of colic pain
mom should not use the food that cause gas and Indigestion
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
