my baby is 17days old and he is burp a lot and crying? can i give him gripe water?? Is gripe water safe for newborn??

Abacavir / dolutegravir / lamivudine (Triumeq®) Abacavir / lamivudine (Epzicom®) Acyclovir. Alemtuzumab. Alendronate. Allopurinol. Amifostine.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. you can give that drops gastica 0.5 ml or you can go for colicaid 0.5 ml but all these at the end only medicines and you have to do burping massage and if it is not improving the condition then only go for this medicines

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. it is not advisable to give gripe water to the child because at the end it is a type of medicine only which will contain large amount of sugar and bicarbonate which again has got side effects for small children

s madaanMom of a 9 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. you should avoid giving anything apart from breastfeeding or formula feeding to the baby anyhow if the child is having the trouble then you can check with the doctor if the child is having gastric problem some medications will be given
