My baby is 17 days old . His belly button appears to be red. Is it a cause for concern? Also my baby sleeps a lot and it seems that he applies pressure while pooping. Is it normal??

A. severe infection. for the concern now so shall advise you to see a nearby doctor for best diagnosis of the problem so that it s to know and hence the advise can be followed about the issue .
