Q.

my baby is 13 months old., I hv been cleaning his tongue since his birth with a soft cotton cloth but now as he's growing older he doesn't let me clean his tongue. he doesn't open his mouth and starts biting when I try to do it.. I hv started giving him formula milk from last 15 days as suggested by his pediatrician and now I can see a white coating on his tongue. really worried what can i do?? how should I clean his tongue??

A. Frankly speaking there is absolutely no need to clean the tongue of the baby as the oral cavity is self cleansing. Just give a little bit of water after the end of feed and that’s enoughWrite Your Answer Here

A. Use. At this stage you should be cleaning the teeth of your child properly with a toothpaste so you can use the toothbrush to clean the tongue of your child otherwise you can use a silicon tongue cleaner and you can clean the tongue with that also you just have to put it into your finger and then finger into the mouth
