My baby is 11 months old now,he has slight cough with breathing sound now

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a gproper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracgetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

U Please consult your paediatrician they will advise you with the safest medicine to be given at the age of 10 was little do I can tell you as of now which is going to be very important is that you should definitely nebulise your child because nebulisation really helps a lot
