Q.

my baby is 11 months old and is on breastfeed. I planned to continue breastfeeding but I want to take covid vaccine. can we continue feeding after vaccine or is it advisable to wean and then take vaccine?

A. Getting vaccinated is a personal choice. Any of the currently authorized COVID-19 vaccines can be offered to people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have questions about getting vaccinated, a conversation with your healthcare provider might help, but is not required.
