POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy6 months agoA. It is common for babies around 11 months to experience changes in their poop as they transition to solid foods. However, if your baby is pooping 4-5 times a day with a strained facial reaction, it may indicate mild constipation or digestive adjustment.
What You Can Do:
✅ Increase Fiber – Offer soft fruits like banana, pear, papaya, or prunes and veggies like pumpkin, spinach, and sweet potato.
✅ Hydration – Give small sips of warm water throughout the day (if already introduced).
✅ Massage & Activity – Gently massage the baby’s tummy in a circular motion and encourage crawling or light movements.
✅ Avoid Constipating Foods – Reduce too much rice, bread, biscuits, or formula milk if they are causing the issue.
If the baby’s poop becomes very hard, dry, or painful, or if constipation lasts more than a week, consult a pediatrician. Let me know if you need any home remedies!
