Q.

My baby is 1.9 yrs I am still breastfeeding my baby. I am planning to take covid vaccine. should I need to stop breastfeeding baby after getting vaccinated?

A. there is no need to stop breastfeeding and you can continue breastfeeding as well as take the vaccine definitely you can go for vaccination because as per recent recommendations on 19th of May Government of India has also started recommending vaccinations for lactating mothers so yes you can go for it

A. Hi It is recommended for all the lactating mothers to take the vaccination and there is no point stopping breastfeeding after than you can definitely continue breastfeeding the child even after taking the vaccinations so need not worry about it is completely safe and completely good for women to continue breastfeeding after taking the vaccination
