My baby is 1 month 9 days old. i am breastfeeding him. Can I go for covid vaccine? can I breastfeed my baby after vaccination

A. Recent guidelines says lactating mothers can also take covid vaccine n continue feeding baby. Both the vaccines given by the government are completely safe for breastfeeding lactating and pregnant women. if you experience any symptoms like fever, body pains, headaches, joint pains then take paracetamol .

A. See A lot of people are getting side-effects after vaccination like fever and everything in that case it is not recommended that you breastfeed the child if you’ve any side-effects and after you heal completely you can breastfeed the child so you decide you want to go ahead with it right now maybe six months later
