POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month3 months agoA. For a 10-month-old baby with a blocked nose and cold, you can help relieve the symptoms with gentle, safe care:
Use saline nasal drops (like Nasoclear or Nasivion Baby) 2–3 times a day to loosen the mucus. Suction gently using a bulb syringe or nasal aspirator to clear the nose. Use a humidifier in the baby’s room or let the baby inhale steam from a bowl of hot water kept nearby (not too close) to ease breathing. Keep the baby well-hydrated with breast milk, formula, or water (if your pediatrician has already approved water). Elevate the head slightly during sleep by placing a folded towel under the mattress (not under the baby’s head directly).
Avoid giving over-the-counter cold medicines without a doctor’s advice. If the baby has a fever, difficulty breathing, or isn’t feeding well, consult your pediatrician.
