my baby has got rasges in her hip area. how to cure it? is it bcoz of diaper?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi, your baby is 1 month old now there is high chance rashes are due to wet diaper or nappy so apply rashfree or siloderm ointment on affected area and air dry

Yes it is diaper rash,changing diapers at the sign of wetness. cleaning the area with a gentle washcloth. allowing the skin to air-dry. applying a diaper cream that contains zinc oxide. Examples of prescription treatments that may help to get rid of persistent diaper rash include: hydrocortisone cream. antifungal cream. topical antibiotics.
