my baby girl was born on 3rd feb 2024. and now we have observed bleeding from her vagina from last 2 days. pl suggest

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Newborn Vaginal Bleeding. It can start any time from 2-10 days of life. This is normal and called false menses. The cause is the sudden drop-off in the mother's estrogen (a hormone) after birth. The blood-tinged or pink discharge should not last more than 3 or 4 days.
