my baby girl is 5month old she is suffering from cold and cough can i gave her steam

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. bhejo the child is only 5 months so you cannot give many medicines to the child without medical consultation kindly give nasal saline drops which is saline water every three hourly along with indirect steam inhalation which will help in decreasing the mucus present in the nasal cavity as well as oral cavity and try to prevent temperature variations around the child for which you can use a room heater

Try to keep your baby in normal room temperature and don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently. And yes you can give a steam with warm water but be very careful while giving steam.
