Q.

My baby girl is 16 month's old. She is not walking till now without support. From last 1week her hip bone on both side is clicking and popping sound. Even in sleep continuously she is clicking both sides of hip bones. Her legs are of equal size and no pain externally when applying pressure or oiling the hip and thighs. Is this normal during walking process or hip dyslpsia problem.

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independentgly and sometimes ift may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in thge walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
