Q.

My baby boy is just 19 days old. But he is suffering a nasal congesion. As a medicine we are using nasoclear SOS. But still it is there and my baby is suffering. Kindly suggest.

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very usefufrl . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. Along That you are giving to the child you should also give steam to the child indirectly two times in a day specially when you’re putting your child to sleep that’s definitely going to help in opening of the new also you should put a pillow like a mustard pillow under the head of the child
