Q.

my baby boy is 22 days old. i observed one thing. that is he keeps his eyes very different. i mean crossing of eyes. i saw 2 times till now. will it become permanent later on??? what to do to avoid crossing of eyes?

A. it is very normal that during the initial few months to 1 year of age small amount of squint is very codmmon in children and usually correct by one or two years of age but still one time examination by the squint specialist is importfant.

A. Their eyes cross because of difficulty focusing on nearby objects. Parents notice the child's eyes turning in sometimes, usually when he or she is concentrating on something up close. Accommodative esotropia typically is diagnosed between ages 2 and 3 years. A family history of this condition is common.
