my baby 1year boy having cold & cough from 3days & am giving Amoxicillin thydrate tablet and cofstop syrup but not controlling .. please suggest any another medicine for cough

A. give me continue the same medicines for another two days Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
