Q.

my about to be 7 months old is not eating cerelac ( I have started it just 2 days ago) ...... she makes faces, gets irritated nd even tries throwing it . in how much quantity should I give her cerelac? should I make it in water ( warm/hot or cold ) or milk ? what should be the consistency ? when should nd how many times can I give her cerelac ? what all r the signs nd side effects of teething ?

A. Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk. initially you can start with one c or two tsp which can be graduallxy increased up till at least three meals in a day
