Q.

My 8 month old baby girl doesn't want to drink water, I am unable to make her drink water anyway, he always refuses , she only takes water while feeding solid but also only a few spoons. She does not even drink 60 ml of water in a day, how to make her drink water please suggest something. I have given her formula milk a little diluted, is it okay to give ? please suggest something. I am worried. Although she passes urine more than 10 times, poops are also normal.

A. as urine output is normal so no need to worry. the frequency of urination should be more than 5 or 6 times per day. the colour of the urine should be pale yellow to transparent. if the above two criteria is achieved then no need to worry but if it is less than kindly give more fluid food, water and juice to the child. please do not worry if the child is not passing urine at night time.
