Q.

my 8 month old baby dont like to drink water ...he spilt out water ...what can i do..I've tried different methods also...from bottle from open cup sipper everything at but he drink very less water...though he urinate well but his potty is hard ..any suggestions

A. Give fluids in food by making foods as runny as possible Offer your baby water between meals when she’s not hungry and keen for food. Keep trying. Babies rarely drink much to begin with and that’s fine; they’ll gradually drink more. n

A. Babies can drink about 30 ml of water till the time they are 4-6 months old, but restrict any more quantity of water. You can slowly increase his water intake when your child is 9 months to 1 year of age. Once your child is a year old, his body system is mature enough to tolerate larger quantities of water. However, even after he reaches his first birthday, keep the water intake under regulation.
