Q.

my 8 month daughter suffering from vomiting since from 2 days which drps are best to reduce vomiting plz suggest iam giving her emigo(ondansetron) now she is vomiting less but feeling nauseating very offen plzz suggest?also iam giving her colic acid drps

A. Hello dr Vandan Thanks for responding ondansetron drps are prescribed before giving food i.e, 15 min before food or milk how to manage??

A. after recurring nausea/ vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.d do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid gidving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

A. suffering from vomiting may be because of indigestion.. you can give oral rehydration solution ORS to baby keep baby well hydrated apply coconut oil on baby tummy area and gently massage in circular motion take care
