my 7 month old sticks her tongue out all the time...is it normal

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times keeping tongue outside is very common in children. it is not commonly associated with any major disease condition. sometimes it might be associated with some syndrome and disease condition in which conditio,n a periodic examination will be required along with some investigation. if the growth and development of the child is within normal limits, for age then it is very less likely that the child is having any disease condition even if the child keeps the the tongue outside the oral cavity

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It might be due to teething in the baby. Please give homeopathic medicine BC21 to the baby. Also massage baby gums with clean cotton cloth. Please give semi solid food items like banana and mashed potatoes and mashed apples to the baby. Also give suji kheer and daal paani to the baby. Start giving formula milk to the baby. Thanks and take care
