Q.

My 6 months 20days old baby is on semi solid food..Her is passing stool with straining and crying and after 1 day.She is taking rice water ,moong dal water ,banana.I have tried changing and stopping food items it's still the same.aWhat to do?

A. Once solid foods are introduced into your baby's diet, his poop is going to change. ... Too much of any of these, especially cereal, could cause constipation in your baby. avoid banana. Try to add some veggies or fruits in baby food preparation to soften stool and easy to evacuate. give sipes of water after each solid feed. Give Tummy Massage in clockwise direction.

A. If your baby becomes constipated, use whole wheat or barley cereal instead of rice cereal and avoid bananas and sweet potatoes, which are constipating. All the fruits which begin with “P” (prunes, plums, pears, peaches) will help soften your baby's stool, so give them often if your baby is having hard stools.
