#asktheexpert My son is 6.5 months and I have started semi solid food. Today there was blood in his stool. And stool was very hard, he was crying while passing it. Please suggest some remedy

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. can be because of Hard stools gvConstipation is very common in babies you have to modify the food which is more in fibre like green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits like apple mango papaya banana etc

See you maybe not giving good amount of water to the child which is why your child is having blood in the stool that could be first thing and heart still could be there because of the same secondly blood could be there either your child is passing hearts tool that is why or it could be due to stomach infections in either of the cases once I would recommend you to get it checked personally because without proper check up we really cannot be sure about theWrite Your Answer Here
