Q.

My 4yr old kid is not eating anything. She is very thin. Can you suggest some calcium or vitamins doses for her?

A. for good Growth of the child it is important that the child should get proper nutritional requirement which is very important for the growing child specially iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition . also there is role of other micronutrients. one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth. any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise. after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.Baby immunity and growth can be taken care of by giving a proper diet with all the nutrition required for proper growth of the child . vitamin C, zinc, iron and vitamin D has key role in this. Multivitamin syrup like syp full 365 can be given 5 ml twice ax... day for 1 to 2 months.

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and please give baby ajwain ark and pomegranate juice for better appetite and due to loose appetite baby stop eating. nd also give vitamins and calcium after doctor evaluation only. take care
