my 4 and half year old kid has 101 fever ..what should I do.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the xchild is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and xshould be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medicines whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

monitor temperature at regular intervals
keep the baby well hydrated...
water helps in maintaining body temperature
you can give crocin
if fever persists visit the doctor
