my 3 month old baby boy does not seem to realise I am next to him, when he wakes up. does not understand if i tap him or call his name. only when I come in front of him, he understands I am here and smiles. when do babies become more aware?

A. dear baby can feel the mom's touch from the womb itself... babies will start Social smiles around three months.. keep encouraging the baby as the baby is learning from your facial expressions and smiles
