Q.

My 25 days old sleeps during breastfeeds and wakes up crying within 30 mins since his tummy is not full. Sometimes he feeds for long (45-60 mins) and still cries. I’ve been able to put him to sleep only with formula. 1. Please suggest tips to help my son feed actively 2. I’ve been able to pump about 50-60ml milk every 2 hours. Is my milk supply sufficient?

A. Yes mam your milk supplies efficient because 30 ML minimum is required for a newborn child and you are making more than that which I believe it’s not the problem of the milk necessarily but it could be a situation with the milk is light like it is not that heavy as it as expected for a child to keep them full so currently looking at your situation I would highly recommend you to please visit consultant lactation specialist
