Q.

my 2 yr old son is having very dry skin from birth. now we have shifted our house, where thr is hard water in bathroom,recently i have seen severe dryness on his body. mostly cheeks, thighs, leg, n hand portion. i am applying coconut oil 3 times a day, bt on any effect i hv seen yet..he is itching thr n cause some bruises thr..is thr any solution? is hard water is safe for baby's bath? water TDS is 250ppm

A. First of all stop using soap and switch to mild baby wash with glycerine and apply lotion or cream twice a day and massage coconut oil or at bed time apply Vaseline on dry patches and give more liquids

A. You Give a bath to the child with little water because if the water is going to be so hard it is going to be bad for the hair as well so it’s better that you get it changed water that would be better I would just advise you as of now to start applying NMFE vitamin E cream regularly that will help in dealing with this dryness issues
