Q.
my 2 years kid was examined with allergic cold,, it is temporary or permanent?? can she outgrow it? how can I take care of her during this time??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a progper evaluation by the doctor is done and accordging to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

allergic problem can stay longer
but to avoid it or to cure it ,I would suggest to opt for Homeopathic medicines,it is really helpful in this
please keep your child well hydrated
choose weather appropriate clothes
give sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day
