my 2 week old baby s umbilical stump is protruding 1 cm out after the cord fell off . how long wil it take for it to become normal and in line with the abdominal surface . kindly opine

A. Hello dear parent! It might take sometime for it completely heal and go back to normal position like couple of more weeks or months. Maintain a good personal hygiene for your baby. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Good luck and take care.
