Q.

my 2.5 years old son has started a new thing for a few weeks now. He seems to be controlling his potty. All of a sudden he sits on the floor and tells us to go away. There is only a spot in his diaper and he doesn't sit in toilet to do it. What should I do?

A. potty training can be started at the age of one and half year to 2 yrs age.for this you need to develop a conditioned reflex in the child by fixing a particular time regularly in which the child should be taken to the washroom and seated over the potty seat .do not force the child instead make it a playful activity for not to make the child repulsive about it.slowly the child will learn to indicate before th tat time. you can counsel the child regarding the indications and gestures to be told for urination and for toilet slowly the baby will adapt it.
