Q.
My 2.5 year old boy does not have interest in meeting people. he don't talk over video calls nor respond to people except family members. He don't want to share his toys with any child and loves to play with toys in his own way. if we try to play with him in different way he will start crying. Is this behaviour normal.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentencefhs properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age yocu need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

Its Side-effect of lock down seal in last 1 1/2 years we have not been social and all the things which is why your child is having that impact so that’s normal if your child is responding to you follow all the commands understanding everything then don’t worry about it this is just a simple social anxiety nothing else it will happen in norm it will become normal basically once your child starts going to the
