my 14months old baby had fever which was treat 3days before after he got cold and cough and again his body temperature is 99.00 and he is feeling sleeping and and weak ness is there in his body he has lots of cold and cough

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children.
But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out .
Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is alsogo helpful .
Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like exycessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .
