A. Hi Mom, Like adults, babies can get pink or red eye. Even newborns can get this very common eye condition. It may caused due to irritated, infected, or inflammed. It's usually mild and goes away on its own. Eye infections typically last seven to ten days. Follow your doctor's advise and put the medicines at the regular intervals of time.
