Q.

my 10 months baby is having fever ranging from 100.4 to 102 since last evening. I giving her imol. she not eating or drinking much. she is sleepy, tired irritated. I can't see her in such a position.. please help

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sgponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too tgo bring the temperature down .
