Q.

my 10 month old baby had a following routine: 8.30 am- 1/2 bowl Dalia or aloo dahi, 1pm- 1/2-3/4 banana, 6 pm- 1/2 bowl milk, 9.30 pm-1/2 bowl dal or khichdi. But I have to feed him forcefully most of the times. I am giving 1/2 spoon osteocalcium syrup. Please suggest do I have to give vitamin d3 drops and iron drops also? Please suggest any supplement that increase my baby appetite. his weight is 8kgs.

A. Yes you can give iron and calcium to the baby till one year of age and continue giving semi solid foods to the baby and give Vitamin C rich fruits as it improves appetite

Q. my 13 months old baby don't drink milk. Though I forcefully feed him 4 times in a day. (Breakfast at 9.30 am: 1/2 bowl milk dalia/vermicilli/suji halwa, lunch at 2pm: 1/2 roti + 1/4 bowl dal, evening at 6pm: 2 banana puree, dinner at 9.30: 1/2 roti + 1/4 bowl dal).Rest he take breastfeed 2-3 times when he want to sleep. But he poops 5-6 times in a day. he is just 8.5 kgs. His right leg is slightly bowed. I give him calcarea phos 2 tabs 3 times a day. 1 ml vitamin d3 drops everyday. I am quite worried about his health. Please suggest how to increase his appetite or if I am following wrong eating schedule for him. or i need to change or add-on for him. He eat paper, wall etc. though I have a watch on him everytime. How to remove this habit. Please suggest.
