My 1 year olds armpit temperature is 99.1.is it considered fever?she feels warm to me

A. It should be fever. If u r taking oral temperature then 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit is the normal temperature. If u are taking under the arm pit it can be one degree less and the rectal temperature can be one degree high.
