Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doctor ..how much armpit temperature is considered normal for babies ? my baby has recovered from viral infection and is taking ziprax syrup. her body temperature is 99 . she still has fever ?

A. If the body temperature is above 99F then give calpol drops to the baby otherwise no need to give and keep the baby hydrated and give light and easily digestible foods and fruits

A. the axiliary temperature upto 99 degrees is normal and there is no need to worry if your baby seems to be inactive reduced feed and then you can give Paracetamol drops and keep am hydrated

A. Mostly The armpit temperature is considered normal as an infant if you take a temperature from there you can consider the temperature for fever or not fever so 99° as of now is a normal temperature or not fever .. As of now there is no need to give any medicine you are already cut giving one to continue with the same if needed
