A. For a 1-month-old baby sleeping for 6-7 hours, you should wake her to feed to ensure she gets enough calories and grows well. Gentle methods like removing a layer of clothing or changing her diaper can help her wake up. However, if your baby is gaining weight well and has sufficient wet and dirty diapers, you may be able to let her sleep longer after the first couple of weeks. If you are concerned about your baby's sleep or feeding patterns, it is best to consult with your pediatrician.
