Q.

Mu son is 19 months old. I have switched mashed rice to normal what we eat without mashing. But I don't know whether he is able to digest it or not. He is not passing stool. And not having food properly. Pls help.

A. Instead of suddenly changing the consistency of the food make it a gradual process like from a paste form to a little bit chunky and then to unmashed arise. A. Make sure your child eats fruits, vegetables and whole grain cereals every day . Adding a daily serving of raisin bran cereal or other high-fiber cereal to his diet can be helpful. Make sure your child drinks extra water and fruit juice between meals. A serving of prune juice or prunes once a day may help.
