MMR vaccine is still pending, Because since last one month my son is not feeling well so my doctor suggested any health issue like fever and cold should not be vaccinated , may i know the any problem with this late vaccine

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 10 months old and he has missed his MMR vaccinations at 9 months so if he doesn’t have any fever then it’s very better to give it immediately

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a partgf of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
