Ask the expert Good morning doctor my son is now 11 months old he missed mmr vaccine in 10 th month because because he was suffering from carona in one month before today can he taking mmr vaccine

A. can be given. ow . Vaccine should not be delayed at this time as now the covid is on decresing trend so baby should be protected form all other diseases that are preventable by giving vaccine important are that which are less then 1 yr vaccine .

A. Vaccination for children can be considered in the current situation as the cases of covid are less to some extent . In such condition most important Vaccination should be given on priority which your doctor will decide. Influenza vadddccine should be given to children above 6 months of age in this season if not given to avoid unnecessary hospitalisation and other risk factors because of flu infection
