Q.

Mistakenly given vitamin D3 800 iu drops 1 ml instead of 0.5 ml. My child is 2 months 18 days old. is there any problem for excess dose? My Pediatrician has recommended 2 times 0.5 ml once in morning and 0.5 ml in evening

A. a single heavy dose for the child should not cause any major problem. there is a possibility that the child might have vomiting. it will be single episoxde and then it should stop. on the side effects part it may not be that much relevant so no need to worry. it is importaxnt that in the future you should give proper quantity to the child in case of medicines
